Emiratisation of fishmongering from next year :: KT

Quoting:
Nationals engaged in the trade have been campaigning for a larger say and share in the trade, complaining that expats with their numbers had an undue hold on the trade, an imbalance, which should be set right.

The finer points of the decree would throw light on this and other aspects of the trade, provide answers to several questions like what would have happen to the expat fish-seller post-nationalisation, and whether they would have to leave the country.
Nationals in the fish trade would like to see higher profits and a more comfortable working environment. One way to achieve this is to prevent non-national fish mongers from operating.
